For me, music means intensity and freedom of expression. Playing music gives me the opportunity to be totally present, and that, mainly, is what keeps me motivated. I recently played with the great guitarist Yamandu Costa, one of the most intense musicians I know. Playing together was amazing because his intensity leaves me no choice but to be here and only here … and to become the music. This is what I strive for, whatever the music genre it is.
